Unified Auto Reply Rules: Profile-Wide and Post-Specific in One Interface
ReplyFox introduces a unified interface for managing profile-wide and post-specific auto reply rules with clear scope selection and improved rule organization.
Auto reply rules in ReplyFox can now be managed from a unified interface that clearly separates profile-wide rules from post-specific rules.
Previously, rules applied across all posts and rules applied to individual posts were handled separately. The updated interface brings them together into one screen while still preserving their distinct scopes. This makes automation easier to understand and manage without changing how replies are generated.
Clear Separation of Rule Scope
The new UI organizes auto reply rules into two logical sections: profile-wide rules and post-specific rules.
Profile-wide rules apply to all posts within an Instagram profile. These are useful for general triggers such as recurring product inquiries, service explanations, or common intent patterns that should always activate.
Post-specific rules apply only to a selected Instagram post. These are ideal for promotions, limited-time campaigns, or content that requires tailored automation behavior.
Bringing both rule types into a single interface improves visibility while maintaining clarity about where each rule applies.
Dropdown-Based Scope Selection
The auto reply creation and update form now includes a dropdown menu containing Instagram posts. When creating or editing a rule, you can choose whether the rule applies to all posts or to a specific post selected from the list.
Selecting “all posts” creates a profile-wide rule. Selecting a specific Instagram post limits the rule to that post only.
This simple dropdown control defines the scope of the rule and removes ambiguity. Users no longer need to manage different rule contexts in separate locations.
No Changes to the Comment Processing Engine
This update is purely a user interface improvement. The underlying comment processing and reply generation engine remains unchanged.
Rules are still evaluated in the same way, and AI-based or static replies are generated exactly as before. The difference lies only in how rule scope is defined and displayed.
By separating presentation from processing, ReplyFox improves usability without altering automation logic.
Better Organization Without Added Complexity
Combining profile-wide and post-specific rules into one structured screen makes automation management more intuitive. Users can see all active rules in one place while still understanding their scope at a glance.
The result is cleaner rule management, clearer scoping, and fewer configuration mistakes — without increasing complexity in the automation pipeline.
Available Now
The unified auto reply rules interface with dropdown-based scope selection is now available in ReplyFox. You can manage both global and post-level rules from one screen and define their scope directly during creation or update.
